supplies and provide outpatient stoma clinics to ensure quality follow-up care is provided. Those clinics also give us the opportunity to meet new patients who would benefit from our surgical care program.

Stoma Clinic
We provide stoma care service to patients with a stoma, their families and others involved both in hospital and the community. Patients and families receive psychological support before, during and after surgery. This includes the teaching of practical stoma care in the hospital setting and during a home visit following surgery.
Stoma Supplies
There are many people living with a stoma in East Africa that do not have the resources to get the supplies they need. We meet the needs of those Ostomates by providing them with donated stoma supplies and the necessities for living. We also offer two home visits following discharge of Ostomates from the hospital to check if they are coping with their new situation and discuss with them issues which may have arisen since their discharge from hospital.
